Many of you may have discovered Fluxscape through Noodl, and you might be wondering what happened to Noodl. Here’s the story:
•
Transition to Open Source: After transitioning from a commercial product to an open-source project, Noodl’s founders stepped back, leaving the platform to the community.
• Community Challenges: Without the original leadership, the platform faced uncertainty, with the community struggling to maintain and enhance it.
• The Birth of Fluxscape: Recognizing the potential of Noodl and the need for a reliable solution, we decided to take matters into our own hands. Fluxscape was born as an open-source fork of Noodl to ensure the platform’s longevity and continuous improvement.
Like many of you, we were longtime Noodl users and loved its power for rapid visual development. When faced with transitioning our agency clients to a new hosting solution, we realized we weren’t alone and that the work ahead of us could benefit the whole community.
Why Fluxscape?
• Bringing Back Seamless Deployment: One of our first priorities with Fluxscape is to reintroduce seamless deployment, a crucial feature that was lost when Noodl went open source.
• Aiming for Improved UI and Flexibility: We aim to enhance the platform with a more intuitive UI and a flexible codebase, making it easier to use and customize.
• Balancing Low-Code and Customization: Fluxscape strives to balance low-code acceleration with unlimited customization, allowing you to meet increasing client expectations without compromising on speed, scalability, or control.
